2016 Tacoma A/C Recharge help

    Thanks for reviving the old thread as I have been seeking the same info. My truck was in an accident and lost the condensor. Certainly not warranty. But from what I have searched, I am not finding 1234yf at our local parts stores. From your post, it appears that 1 can was adequate to charge the system? I was looking on Amazon where they have a 4 pack for $112, but think that I may have spares at that point.

    Not sure if you just been searching the local shops using the web, or actually calling them. Because when i searched locally online they only had a gallon listing, but by calling them their computer search feature located it at a nearby store and i picked it up. Could be worth trying the phone method, especially if there is an Oriely’s - they’d be able to get it in stock if they don’t have it already. Most of the sales folks i talked to hadn’t even heard about it and had no idea what i was talking about until they looked it up. Anyway- worth a try and you won’t need the three cans if they are the same size as mine was. Although the $112 is a good price for four. Good to know if there is ever a next time.
