Why do you want to upgrade the suspension?
    Are you towing?
Are you not satisfied with ride quality?
Or are you looking for a lift?

These questions will us, as to what suspension to recommend.

    COOL Stuff I can't afford . . . But I bought anyway!
Hi all, Bluelinetaco chiming in, I'm new here too! I have a 2017 TRD OFF Road 2x4 as well. Looking for a mild lift to tuck some slightly bigger treads under it (17x9, hopefully on 275/70/17).

I've been doing some HW and here is what I have come up with and not bust the bank. Thoughts, advice? All is welcome, but please be constructive in your post. @RonTaco hopefully you can grab some input from this too! Thanks!

5100's up front for 1.5-2" lift
    1 or 1.5" rear blocks
    5125's in rear
Do I need a 2 degree axle shim? Do I need a CB drop? I don't want any driveline shake.

I want to keep about 1-1.5" of rake, I tow a 22' ski boat and need it. Also, not a fan of the "bro lean."

I'm not an offroader, just dirt trails, some beach sand, and a lot of city/freeway driving.

I know a lot of people will advise against the blocks, but I really don't want a stiffer rear end ride of an AAL, and with an 8 and 9 yr old and new home in Cali, I don't have the additional $$$ for them.

Haha. That’s ridiculous. If you really needed something temporary, wouldn’t angle iron have worked better? Lol.

Welcome to TW @RonTaco !! Feel free to PM me if you need assistance picking out a lift. 2WD's have options, like lift spindles, that the 4x4's don't so there are a lot of option out there for you. :D:taco:

@ENZO99 thank you for the recommendation, we truly appreciate it!

So you are saying it currently has a lift?

If so, can you find out how it was lifted. That would help.
Pictures of your front suspension would help too.
