Mandatory evacuation starts at noon today. We're staying put again. Gotta watch out for looters. They're pesky.

Reports have Dorian stalled over Freeport Bahama area. The news coming in I've heard is there is massive damage and possible loss of lives. They won't know for sure until they can get out and survey everything. Prayers for all those in the path pf Dorian

    Morning all,
Just started on my one cup of coffee, jogging a little after 6 so no flashlight needed. :) Out Saturday night with Repo pup, hiked 90 minutes up a Forest Circus road to a spot I've used a few times to backpack to. Lazy yesterday, let Repo out of the tent around 6, I sorta slept/rested until a late 8AM. No special stoves taken, just a couple isobutane stoves that use those small, round canisters, have a few canisters to burn off that were given me from a guy who hits a hazardous recycle place.

I'm already just over 600 miles. The mpg is wonderful.
    It also rides very nice.
I'm still getting used to it.

Just noticed the question on car porn in the alert! :p  Yup, looks like a 65, need to go through those pics., there are for sure some awesome cars posted on there.
Stay safe for anyone affected by Dorian, and hope they are right about it staying off the coast and not making landfall which could really be bad.

Much better thank you. Still need a day or two to get the kinks out. At the beach soaking in the warm water(actually it's too warm) and relaxing.

On September 3, 1944 my mom gave birth to an 8 lb. 13 oz. boy and named him Gary. Today Gary is 75 years old and enjoying the life she gave him.

Life is good and I am thankful for every breath and heartbeat.

Every day is planned but not promised.

Best wishes to all of my 60+ friends here!
