Try starting on south side of Lake George in Georgetown and riding around western end of lake to park on north side of lake. We said F this and turned around after 6 miles. Lunar limestone landscape with head-sized and smaller boulders strewn everywhere.....that pic of brushy creek is like a sidewalk compared to that crap. Most unforgiving place I think I have tried riding and that's a lot of places. Complete mind numbing trials ride. We didn't even make it but about halfway to halfway point, lol. Even Emma Long was relaxing the next day in comparison, lol...............

From Columbus to smithville to Austin to Memorial today lol 24 miles in and I am dead. Last trip was anthills but fuck lol. I can’t even get the energy to kick my legs up for the jumps. Supposed to go ride tomorrow morning but might just rest. Really wanna do cypress creek loop again though soon as that’s a fun trail

Man, anthills doesn’t get the credit it deserves. The pump sections , jumps, and drops... it’s a helluva track for being in Houston. Lots of places to get some sketchy air lol. Wanting to go ride some today but not sure if I wanna try somewhere new again or just goto cypress creek and enjoy a big loop

Is there a bike forum that’s as good as TW? I kinda want to learn and read up on write ups on all that. Like can I get my wheels powder coated bronze ? Cause then it would match the runner and be freaking sick.

MTBR used to be good, I haven’t been on in years though. Reddit has some good subs on there. Pinkbike has good content, the forums are eh. TW, reddit, pinkbike, and YouTube are basically my sources of info (for basically everything haha).

If you’re looking for trails check out mtb project and Trailforks. Those are both pretty good.

As far as powder coating your wheels, that sounds heavy haha. Some companies might make bronze parts, I can’t seem to find them though. Usually they are high end parts though.

Ah see I’m already on the apps for trails but I guess I was wondering if there’s any sites like that talk about mods and upgrades and how-to’s and all that like there is on here

2018 Cannondale Cujo 3. Just put a PNW Pine dropper post on it, CrankBros. Stamp 2 pedals, ODI Lock ons. Converting to tubeless now, hoping to get back on it Wednesday. Bonus Pic (before the dropper was on):

Yeah, I've only ridden it once since I put the dropper on. Still getting the hang of it, but it's definitely way useful.

Seen a lot of posts centered around central texas. There is a great group ride on Wednesday nights in comfort, not too far from San Antonio.

No but honestly I’m trying to get that good where I can and every now and then I do a tight turn and like to be able to kick my foot off. Plus it’s nice to be able to step off on steep climbs
