285/70/17 They rubbed the inner liner before the lift but after the lift with SPC UCA's and the caster set to 3 degrees there are no issues at all. Very happy with the look and ride.

I paid under $600 for my kit from Headstrong Offroad with Deaver AAL's and like $200.00 for the install.
I have since upgraded to OME springs in the rear for 3 in in the rear. The link has a similar rear spring as mine. $100.00 for install and sold the AAL's.

It rides absolutely great. Better than stock on road and off road seriously. I am so pleased and confident with my choice.
I did a ton of research and it the suspension rocks!

I've got some Bilstein 5100's on the front and rear that I purchased from another TW member and plan to purchase OME 885 coils for the 2.5" Lift in the front. Do I also need to purchase an AAL? Will it bro lean if I do? Or will it level out?

5100 / 883's are installed and got an alignment. Only drove 200 miles but I LOVE THEM. Stiff but smooth over the potholes.
At the lowest height setting, it did raise the front "around 1.5" which is fine! Expect the new springs may settle a bit.

I know this thread is mostly based around front suspension but i have a question regarding 5100 rear shocks. My truck is on stock trdOR suspension and I got 5100s for all 4 corners so I can bump it to .85” and level it for now. I put the rears in last night and had to compress the hell out of them to get them in the lower mount and the boot is really compressed too. My understanding was 5100s were good for stock ride height up to ~1.5” lift. Do you think they’re too long for my stock leafs or am I overthinking?

I installed 5100 in rear on Saturday. The boots are all squished. Sure rides nice though

Same here lol. I honestly considered just going ahead and doing AAL and 884s in the front because of it. I think I have a problem :spending:

Been reading through here all morning (only 30 pages to go!). I've pretty much decided on 5100s F/R with 885s in the front, UCAs if I need them. Just wondering what leaf pack to go with, mine are pretty rusted so want a whole pack instead of an AAL. I'm thinking Dakar medium duty, not hauling anything but a softopper + rack, and occasionally dogs, camping gear and kayaks. I should expect about 2.5" in the front and 2.75" in the rear correct? Any other options I should consider other than Dakars?

My measurements at the moment, I think the previous owner said he did add a leaf already, but not sure (2013 sport DCLB)

    FD - 20"
    RD - 21.75"
    FP - 20.25"
    RP - 21.75"

Sounds like you did some homework. Im not sure what the weight restriction are on the medium vs the heavy. You might wanna just go up to the heavy. I have had my set up for awhile now running dakars in the back billys and 5100 up front with 885’s and a 1/4” spacer on driver side. It has been pretty good. Your lift will settle and if your buying new UCA’s id go with 3” over 2.5”

With your setup does the truck sit level or do you have a rake slightly higher in the back? "The heavy leaf pack will provide 2.75" at a constant load of 660lbs" my everyday load is maybe 80lbs tops, fully loaded probably 400lbs a few times a year, so think the heavy will be overkill...but that may not be a bad thing.

Lots of homework, sitting at a computer all day at work helps though :typing:

Yeah there is a rake i cant remember the measurements maybe a 1/2” in the rear higher than the front. There is a pic of the truck during the lift install in my build thread.8C4B0A2A-4651-4DB8-93F3-EC4852BCDAFD.jpg

    Hello,
I have a 2015 DCSB TRD O/R 4WD 4.0. I installed 5100s at “0” with 885 coils. I started with a 1/4” drivers side spacer and now I have a 1/2” drivers side spacer. Even with that spacer I’m still just under 1/2” lower on the drivers side (with full tank of gas). If I remove the 1/2” spacer and bump up the drivers side 5100 to the .85 setting isn’t that just a little more preload than what I have now? Or should I add a 1/4” spacer on top of the 1/2”? This may get me closer to even ride height. Is that going to cause any issues?

Truth is not one person notices it even when I ask them to look but I know the difference is there. BTW, I am going to install JBA UCA’s soon, not that OEM UCA’s are the issue I am asking about.
    Thank you.

Center of hub to bottom of fender should give lift height. Do you have the measurements
