I got my upTOP delivery notification today. Lift install on Saturday, upTOP Bravo on Sunday and New 33's next week. Going to be a real fun week at my house!

 

I wouldn't think so, because the three brackets mounting to the roof can only align with the grooveTEK in one way. Once those are aligned, if there is any small angle misalignment, I'm sure the load bars would square it up.

 

First impressions...This thing looks mean! Very well made, sturdy and extremely light. 0 issues with powder coating or rough edges. Everything is well labeled and directions are easy to understand.

 

You sold me with those photos! Now I need to sell the wife.

I got the shell rack on and its amazing, but I'm having some trouble with securing the rtt...I don't have enough room to get my hands up under it to tighten it down,another thing is the bolts that came with the rtt are not far at all from my shell roof like so close I can't slide the locking nuts on. I hope this part is fixed tho as I just ran out and grabbed some shorter bolts, pretty simple stuff there at least I hope.Any of you have any ideas or ran into this yourself before?I actually think bc I cant get to the bottom of the rtt or bars I'm Gonna have to secure it on the very last/end load bars which is s li so going to be putting the mounting hardware right at the end of the rtt tracks. This is not something I'm extremely happy/comfortable doing but I do think/hope I can get it secured well and it not be an issue for this weekend's trip....I'm definitely ordering something like the frontrunner quick mount and detach system after this trip tho and hope to fix this fatty fast. Has anyone confirmed any mounting solutions like that to work with these systems? Thanks all for Any advice, this Ex rack is Just unreal in every way possible and I'll have pics up soon!!

Sorry about the morning glare. I will take some better pictures later. Here is the upTOP Bravo installed. I did it solo and built it on the truck. Hardest part is dealing with the drip moldings. I didn’t do the “punch” method, I simply cut the molding where the mounting brackets go. If you build it on the truck, keep everything loose until all pieces are in place and tighten it up last.

Where's your grab handles?

 

I purchased different grab handles and they should be delivered Tuesday(ish). I really liked the handles available from upTOP but at $200+ for 4 I started to look at alternatives. I found a really cool startup that makes bolt-on custom paracord handles ($50 for 4). I don’t want to take anything away from the upTOP guys on this thread, so if you want the info on the handles PM me.

 

Ohh...I see. I had thought the grab handles would come with the Bravo rack without additional cost.

 

I have the XL roof rack and the cab height bed rack. Look no further because these racks are insane...Super stout and should take a beating all while looking awesome. Extremely happy with the install and construction of the best rack system on the market.

The bed rack is slightly higher on my truck than the roof rack. I have the roof rack in the highest position and the bed rack in the lowest position but the bed rack is still a little higher. They are suppose to be level but it does not disappoint in any way just noticeable for this OCD personality of mine. It does work out well because my dog can jump up in the bed of the truck and the RTIC 145 can fit on top of the Decked box with plenty of head room to spare.

Working with Mikah and Drew at upTOP has been great to work with. They have answered all my calls, texts, and emails in a timely manner while answering my multitude of questions and providing assistance with install. All around excellent experience. Thank y’all!

Currently purchasing additional mounts for Rotopax and overland gear while they are on sale for Labor Day. Can’t wait to finish the build and to test it out on the trails soon.
