Got a new TV for the family room. I decided to add a new outlet for the upper side to make it up to code.

I got lazy and tried to rip out the new construction box from the wall to run new Romex. I ripped a big honking hole in it, and I had to do some drywall and mudding.

I am not good at drywall. No one is ever going to see it, but it makes good practice.

Have to do some more layers of mud, plus the texture and paint.

Good lawd thats a lot of cords. Shouldve added about 18 new breakers and new outlets respectively.

In other news, this dog of mine has succesfully turned me off from ever wanting another pet. Ever. Tonite was a night of many bodily fluids...

Those haven’t been hooked up in years. They used to power the ten gaming consoles that are displayed on the shelves in front of it. They’re never all used, it’s just retro game console power adapters have huge power bricks that takes up all the room.

That’s all not all of the cables too. I removed 80% of them.

A body "file" sanding block will be your best friend to level that out!! Something along the lines of this, but they make wooden version that is probably less expensive. https://www.amazon.com/3M-05744-Hoo...e+body+file&qid=1567435153&s=gateway&sr=8-122

Yeah, I've gotten as good as 17mpg which is insane for an 8k truck. Sounds like it's been cared for, the EGR cooler is a common point of failure

Would you rather have a 12v without the pen mod or a 6.0 that hasn’t had head work yet

I hate people that only take part of an item at the junkyard. I was looking for the 4Runner black steering column trim to match my new IS300 wheel, only found half.

Also found most of a jack kit. Lug wrench is missing, but I guess anyone can carry a separate wrench for that. All spare tire tools are there, so I guess that will hit the for sale forums sometime today.

I have a complete OEM spare tire jack and tool kit that I have zero use for, should probably sell that.

i use the screw jacks to support engines and stuff when im messing with motor mounts. they hold them up fine and leave my plenty of room to work around

Yep! I have a sanding block. This isn’t my first rodeo with drywall.

This paint curing lamp is really useful to help the joint compound dry faster.

The Z really likes Ethanol free fuel, the lambda reading is far less varying. So close to being able to tune it for the ethanol in regular fuel, but just not quite yet so this is nice

Alot of people with stock 1st gens seem to be all about the little OEM details like floor mats and jack kits lately. Actually I have my stock floor mats too stashed away in perfect condition. Except they've been rolled up for a few years
