That would work if I could find the little clips that broke off :(

I broke a clip, little bit of epoxy and its fine, clipped in no problems.
Also did the same, epoxy weld has been holding for four days now no problem.

Took me 4.5 hours. Really happy with them.

Struggled for a hot minute with disconnecting the wires from the door panel.
Snapped my passenger side mini panel. Part # 67491-04060. $43 from Toyota.

Other than that ... it was fun.

Just ordered the map / dome light combo in Red.

Not sure if this been asked but does the motion sensor only work on driver side mirror? I walk up with fob in pocket and comes on like magic on drivers side. Not same on passenger side. Just wondering if I missed something or not. Other that they bright and nasty looking. Door clips were pain but with some patient they worked. Other that... flawless lol

I wonder if I did something wrong? The lights don’t have a driver side and passenger side do they? It works when I unlock and lock just not motion? Wonder if anyone else hit this little snag? @MESO Any help or tips.
Otherwise it was smooth sailing and love the lights.

Hmm that's strange , Maybe a lose connection or a bent pin not making full contact?

It should be the same sensor that turns on the interior dome lights. And I do not think Meso's harness has anything to do with the proximity sensor.

I have always had it work if I am closest to the driver's side. Since I believe the sensor is physically closer to the driver's side.

It works in the front of the truck and the passengers side from time to time.

This was even before installing the puddle lights.
The interior lights would only turn on consistently on the driver's side.

On a fresh new battery, it would turn on when I am in the vicinity of my truck.

Try switchIng out your FOBs battery.

Anyone ran into this issue? I did the install last week, they worked perfectly and out of no where, the dome light and the puddle wont shut off with the unlock via the remote. The dome light could be shut off with the switch inside but the puddles stays on all the time. Door sensors doesnt indicate any one of them are open.

    Any help?

Just took out the A pillar adapter out and the dome lights work fine. Also tries to disconnect one of the puddle from the y cable, still no go. Will reach out to meso to get a replacement adapter cable.

Figured it out. When I put the door panel back on my driver side, I didn't have the lock cable secured correctly and it was preventing the door from unlocking/locking which affected the dome light and puddles from lighting. Fixed it this morning and the puddles now light up on both lock/unlock.

Sorry just saw this, but no unfortunately I didn’t figure it out. I looked through the manual and found that there’s a dealer setting for “lights on, on unlock”, I might give that a try next time I’m getting my oil changed. Not sure when I’ll have time to have that done, but I’ll make sure to update when I do.

I understand that. Truck locked, truck unlocked, doesn’t matter. They won’t come on when the unlock button is pressed.
