Got my Fox level 2 lift installed. I didn’t get the AAL installed due to time constraints. Gonna try to have a shop do it since I don’t have the tools/desire to do it myself. I was kind of expecting more of a lift though. Planning to get some 255/85R16 tires next month to replace the stock ones.

After getting everything installed and back home, I found out Fox has rear shock guards. I now wish I would have known about them prior to the install.

Also, my grandparents driveway has a slight angle to it.

I have 4" black Steelcraft and like them, the ends are welded instead of having caps. And they function very well for stepping into the cab.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
Yeah, welded ends that was one of the requirements (current ones have end caps and look dorky). That, and they need to be compatible with mud flaps.

I got these in 4". Don't see that size listed now but they have 4.25" and 5". I've been very pleased with mine. Had them for over 1 1/2 years and still look brand new.

Those look pretty good. I'll have to consider the narrower width. Thanks for the photos!

I'll add those to the short list of candidates. Thanks...

<edit> You know... Something else I've been thinking about with new step bars is that seem like a really good place to add some puddle lights. Install the lights underneath near the doors, run the wires through the bars forward and out near the first mounting bracket, then up into the engine compartment. Just sayin'.

TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
If you are just an occasional 4x4 off road enthusiast then look into the RMAS system to give a modest lift in the rear.

It is a plug & play mod that overrides the factory ECU settings to eliminate throttle lag.

Wow Mark that's a great idea and one I'll have to consider as well. Wish I'd have thought of it.

That's whatcha' got me for. :D

You'll need some rock lights with a really wide pattern, or you'll just get one small, bright spot on the ground. If the lights are round (with mounting flanges, maybe), they can be nearly flush with the bottom of the rails (cut round holes in bars with a hole saw). I need to shop around, I just came up with this thought this morning.

I had in mind some rock lights like these:

...but I suppose one could use some light strips, like the stick-on kind, for a more distributed light. My only hesitation there is that they would need to take some abuse.

That’s what I have planned with mine. Mount the lights to the bottom. Already have most the stuff, just have to take the time to install them.

My steps even have holes for mounting. :D

That's not a bad idea. Haven't seen them installed there before. I just did the normal under the mirror puddle light addition.

What I didn't like about the Meso lights is that, when you open the door, the ground in front of you is back in the dark. I know the map lights were intended to take over then, but I have something else intended for the map lights.
