the 3 trucks i examined at the salvage yard today ('96,'97,'02) the main root cause I have determined to cause this severity of frame decay is due to the internal flaking of the defective paint!

I’m actually not so bad at this whole drywall thing. New drywall patch, mudding, and texture along with fresh paint.

That’s how you fix drywall. You cut a bigger hole, then replace with a patch.

Great for supporting transmissions during an engine job so you can roll the vehicle around without having blocks under the transmission.

Then supported the engine while taking out the mounts to get it ready for the engine hoist.

It also works great for supporting transverse mounted engines when you need to pull the transmission for a clutch job.

I was adding a new outlet a few feet up so the new TV install would be up to code, and I got lazy trying to remove the old junction box by just yeeting it out the wall which promptly tore a big hole in it.

Oh well. Makes good mudding practice.

What’s wrong with it? Most people just replace the whole seats.
