Follow Cam from Saturday’s ride. They didn’t keep up on Lower Black but they got me on Upper Black in the beginning

I feel like I’m gonna need a bigger bike, maybe just bigger balls :anonymous:

Thanks for posting that right after I was feeling good about getting myself prepped for the trip by putting in about 30miles in the last two days. :(

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
    That’s literally in my backyard

In that case, I'm bringing my chinese-carbon-frankenstein-singlespeed-hardtail. Because being trendy is for suckers, or something!

ok, no, I'm not bringing a hardtail... it would rock for Dupont, but absolutely suck at Pisgah.

Going to try and spruce up my old fuel, may end up getting a rental though, I’ve been hunting for a new bike, just not in a rush. A 2017 Fuel EX aluminum still would leave any Ibis or yeti in the dust though...

Nope, Boise is terrible. You'd hate it there. No reason to go and visit.

Boise is my backup if SLC gets old.

Nearly all the mfg in the Seattle area is Boeing and aerospace related though. I worked for 3 different aerospace plants there. If Boeing offsites more manufacturing like they did to SC for the 777 wing components, then it'll put more shops in a pickle. Between the ultra-competition on pricing because everyone owns a machine shop up there, and the higher wages and overhead of that area as opposed to other parts of the US, it's pretty tricky to keep the doors open sometimes.

Still super bummed I can't make this. Dang travel restrictions at work mean no way I could massage a work trip to Charlotte in.
