Ok I'll bite. I leased a 16 offroad the second we had one in for me to test drive.

    I had the following issues.

Leaf spring squeak. It sounded like a 20 year old truck when it was put into park.
Fuel pump chirping. Very loud, got "better" over time. Pre-tsb.
Shifting was shit, hated driving highway with cruis control. Pre-good tsb.
Nav screen went black, pre-tsb and post-tsb.

I was displeased as they never released a good trans tsb in the 20 months of my lease.

    2. Access cab windows leak water (still)
    3. Had my factory car battery replaced under warranty for leaking acid
    4. My windshield sprayer nozzles got clogged and were shooting up. Got them replaced under warranty.

I thought about sound deadening the back wall behind the seats on mine. Don't know if it'd silence it.

17 OR double cab 6’ bed auto. Almost 30k. Had rear brake drums turned at 5k. They need it again bad. Running ovtune. Get 19 to 20 city. 20 to 23 highway. Missing gas lid rubber bump from new. Rear end does howl a bit. But mostly don’t notice it. No other issues.

so much better then the cheap ass interior of the ranger and that freakin tall bed. Not to mention they are ugly.

So is there a fix for the engines to perform better? I am beginning to look and was torn between a 2015 or take the plunge into the 3rd Gen. Thanks for your input.
