New, never used Yeti Tank 45. I got this on a trade and know nothing about it other than it looks really cool and my wife told me I can’t keep it, and I think that’s not fair because I’ve already named him Wilson. So, you can be Wilson’s new owner for $125 firm. Don’t let Wilson be homeless. If you are short on cash, I also have an affinity for trading things. My wife also hates it when I do that, but she's not always home so sometimes I do it anyway. I prefer cash, but.....

Lol what a great post. If I was local I'd buy this, well probably trade for it, based on your sales pitch alone.

What did you trade for those?

Seems like a great deal for that yeti, I had never heard of these. They for $200+ and you can also get a lid for them. Pretty bad ass party cooler. Glws

So, after some deep (I did a Google search with no help from the kids) and thoughtful research I have determined that Wilson, AKA Yeti Tank 45 (sounds kind of like a space ship), is a friend to beer. I don’t drink beer because, despite my best efforts, it still tastes like horse pee (disclaimer, I’ve never actually tried horse pee but I imagine it would taste like beer) to me. So, given that you fill Wilson up with ice (you can get it cheap if you shop around) and surround him with up to 52 of his best friends, and knowing that he will keep them cold for you, that makes Wilson worth even more. But, since I’m in a great mood (thank you Percocet) I’m still keeping the price at $125. I’ve never been one to guilt anyone but currently Wilson has no friends to share his space with. Do any of you want this on your conscious? If I was a beer man (we’ve established that despite my best efforts I’m not) it would be hard to sleep at night knowing this little guy is all alone. #findwilsonahome.

First things first - thank you for the free “bump”, although when I think about what I just said, it kind of sounds like maybe I should have just said thank you. But, given that I’ve already typed all this, I think I’ll just leave it because I’m really bad at typing and not really motivated enough to go back and erase all this.

Now, since we are on the topic of deep thoughts, I’ve given my bucket thingy, affectionately known as Wilson, some deep thought. Wilson spent one of the biggest beer drinking days of the year all alone with no one to test out his 52 can advertised beer can holding capacity. Now, that is what Yeti claims, not me. But imagine Wilson’s moment of hope, then doubt, followed up by disappointment, and then complete loss of all hope. That probably makes him feel really sad. It makes me sad too but it could be the Percocet, although I must admit that usually makes me happy, but I probably shouldn’t say that, so we can pretend I didn’t. I also probably shouldn’t talk about that, so maybe I won’t. Then again, maybe I should try another one. I will report back in about 30 minutes to see if my little experiment worked.

Now, about beer. As I stated earlier and despite my best efforts (and I have given it the old college try my fair share of times), I have yet to find a beer that I like. I still think it tastes like some form of horse pee (this is the part where I repeat the disclaimer that I’ve never actually tried horse pee, and I’ve never even been curious). But, I’m welcome to suggestions and maybe I should start a new thread on that and we can share some deep thoughts and helpful tips about my beer dilemma, although it’s not Friday night yet. Maybe there is hope for me after all and maybe that perfect beer is there for me and I just need this wonderful hive mind to help me through this.

Oh, and thank you again for the “bump” (the free one that led to sort of an awkward type exchange).

I am in Alabama. I am willing to ship IF someone is willing to do all the fuzzy math to set it up. This seems to be an awesome deal so you’d have to ship on your dime. :). I probably have a box that I could put Wilson in.

PM your number to me. I would like to check up on you in, say, 45 minutes. We can't be too careful.

You, your Yeti thing, I prolly won't be much help with that. Yeti prices piss me off. So much so that I recently purchased a 45 qrt cooler, and it pissed me off. They are nice, but crickey!

Feel free to ramble if, in fact, you send me a PM, in 45 minutes or so.

I might just do that, but fair warning, I can ramble with the best of them. That Yeti thing, yep, they have a pricing issue. Have you tried beer for the anger? I mean, it doesn’t work for me, but I’m holding out hope that the perfect suds is just a suggestion away.....

So, I admit I’m a complicated guy and I am digging deep to try to incorporate a 3rd gen grille into an Art Deco type arrangement thing in my garage. The problem is that I should get hazard pay just from venturing from one side of it to the next, so I’m virtually certain that awesome grille you have would just get lost in the shuffle. Sadly, I might have to pass but I also freely admit the night is still young. It should be Friday. For the purposes of this thread, maybe it is.

A little rambling don't scare me none.
I'm currently dinking beer in prep for a photo-shoot with my ass. Sounds weird, yeah, but I was tasked over in the "Barracuda" thread. Long story....
