    Hey all. Just having a think here. If my issue of loosing boost at 3k rpm is not an ecu or electronic issue, has anyone got any suggestions what it could be?
    I have changed the bypass valve.
    When I remove the vacuum line from the bypass valve I have boost to red line.

    What the hell would be causing the vacuum to open the bypass when stillnunder heavy throddle?

    The source of that vacuum hose maybe?

    Although you still have an ECU issue that should be flashed to a manual format.

    Got some pictures of where the vacuum hose to the bypass valve is connected?

    my guess is a fault in the vacuum line, where its coming from as @Torspd said , or the ecu controlling how the vacuum happens.

    Follow the vacuum hose from the bypass valve. Where does it connect to on the other end?

    It’s just a short line and it connects to a port at the back of the charger.

    Yeah I would agree. I can only be something with the vacuum. Weather is mechanical or ecu related, it has to be the vacuum
    this is not my actual sc but it’s the same one. This is exactly how my vacuum line is connected

    TRD S/C, UCON, 61# inj, 2.5 pulley, 7th inj, Roostfactor Y Pipe, URD exhaust, WAT Nomad Valve body, Dana 60, DK LT, JD FAB LCA mounts, custom roof rack...and way too many others.
    Because it works when disconnected, in my mind it comes down to one of the following:
    1) the line has a crack in it. When you reach enough boost pressure the line opens up and the valve forces open.
    2) the line is loose and needs hose clamps at each end. Enough boost and the line leaks.
    3) The diaphragm has a leak and doesn't operate to close under boost.

    This part will mind boggle you...
    1- we have put on a new vacuum line
    2- we also have hose clamps each end
    3- it’s a brand new bypass valve and it was checked before install.

    Such a pain in the arse. The dyno guy was saying he might take off the sc and have an internal look just to eliminate any possibilities inside it.
