Pardon to those reading back a few pages who may have seen my start of I’m experimenting with a better FM antenna. Today I cut it down from 30.75 inches to 28.75 to be better resonant with the midpoint quarter wavelength between my two most preferred FM stations. Shown upside down to let the tip ball glue dry before I reinstall it.

I know, but being a nerd comes in handy ...when cranking AC/DC at level 60.

My current stainless rails are 5" ovals, you're right about the back of your leg hitting them. I'm looking for some 4" ovals (thanks again to @Tallgrass05 for the photos). Nice to know there still wide enough for a door ding shield.

Just Griots finishing compound for paint. started with a course pad then finishing pad. Followed with the sealant. They're not on the truck so just did it by hand.

Has anybody had any issues with putting a RTT on an ARE Shell & had stress or cracks occur?

 

I put the settings on sport 5 and you don’t have to press the gas pedal as far to get it to go when passing.
