Hey guys so I have a question about the mount that you have.

I’ve got some mounts that I’ve drilled a hole into the fiber glass and mount into the slide tracks. They work great for a daily drive but off road the shell slides a bit and ends up hitting the cab.

I can tourqe them down a bit more but I’m worried about cracking the fiber glass. Do you guys have something similar or something different??

Mine is lined up with the holes in the bed rail & bolts right through them. I don’t have those threaded blocks. Other than that it’s identical.

How’s everyone holding up around here? Been a little slow lately! I went on a little wheeling/camping trip this past weekend. EF41F99D-A047-4B9B-9567-41AEAAA2CF6C.jpg

What length awning did you go with? Looking to get the longest one possible with the short bed Taco, fine with some front overhang.

GT had a Fiama F35 installed, it's roughly 7'x7'. It's kinda a cool, neat setup, but after 13+ times set up, I think I got it figured out :rofl:I'm gonna go back to an ARB 2000 (6x8) this fall.

NikWaxed the Fly today, then had to wash the residue off the truck. Used the 1:4 ratio, a little thicker, but we get a lot of rain and ice. Ready for Fall camping in the South.....

Yeh, I hit them seams extra heavy, then rubbed it in before rinsing after an hour or so (ok, 2 beers) . 2 hour dry time in the sun.

Yeah, still trying to decide on the best model. seems like new ones are coming out daily. Want something easy to setup, that can take some wind.

My old awning worked extremely well and provided a good amount of shade but without my roof rack it wont work.

Without the SLO rainfly my tent is useless. :(
But with it on its quite good.

Going to look into a replacement for the stock tent next spring. One that doesn’t need a separate rain fly...

I just picked up a spare torsion bar, I'd be in for a spare tent too! Hope to get as much life out of the FlipPac as possible. I also have a rain fly but having a single weather proof tent would be awesome.

It would make the Flippac equivalent to the AT Habitat... that’s my goal. ;)

If you find anything worthy for a replacement I’d also be in maybe a super small group buy!
