That's pretty much the exact same set-up I'm going for. Minus all those options at the bottom (steps, mudguards etc)

42k and some change seems steep. I was hoping to get to 43k OTD on mine. Not sure if that will happen. Anymore.

Hopefully we will know better once some people get their hands on the invoices.

Sick truck, bit youd think Toyota would have figured out a way to integrate the TSS in the grill without that garnish piece, always sticks out to me and is all I can see

It looks like the price of the premium and the tech package have increased greatly. I know the advanced tech package has the fancy camera and such, but what’s with the premium package price.

Wow pretty much the same build, but will be getting the MT instead. Between the drop in cost on the MT base and no JBL in Premium making that cheaper as well, hopefully can get it closer to or a bit under $40k. If they can give you official pricing now though, they must be releasing prices and builder on the website soon, so I'll know then.

Yeah that seem crazy high. Premium package on my 2019 MT was just over $2k. Ouch.

I hope it’s under 40k with the MT. I can take or leave the tech package but I want the LED headlights and the premium package. The price posted on the 2020 OR is in 2019 Pro territory.

So the LED headlights and fogs are a $485.00 option per that sheet. I’m curious what they will run from the parts counter.

Can you get certain equipment without having to get the whole package? JBL system from what I've heard is garbage and I don't care for leather trimmed seats but I really want a moon roof.

Have the RCTA and BSM on my 2019 and don't think I could be without them anymore. Not sure I'd use the MTM as I'm not a huge off-roader, but might just throw it in anyway in case I want it in the future and for resale.

There were rumors you might be able to option the Premium without the leather and/or sunroof, but no one has shown a build sheet with a different Premium package from normal (that I can remember), so until someone does or they release the builder we won't know for sure.

Future 4th gen 4runner to Tacoma convert here. Planning on getting a 2020 TRD OR MT w/ tech package but those prices can screw off. I have the money but can't justify that. With the great prices of the 2019, I am just going to settle for that. Really only care about Android auto. Any thoughts?

My thought exactly. While I enjoy CarPlay I can live without it and I can get aftermarket LED headlights.

What about the seats though. All the reviews I’ve seen say the Tacoma seats suck and are in desperate need of the adjustability the 20 seat provides with the power adjustments

I am 5'10 and wasn't bad in my test drive. Not as comfy as my old ass 4runner but still not worth paying extra 5-7k.

Tech package has not increased - its still $800. Advanced tech gets you the multi terrain monitors and is inclusive of the tech package for $1675

Its not a rumor - you can get a $2300 premium package with JBL, dual zone climate, connected and dynamic NAV services - its package code EE. For $3600, you can add moonroof, leather seats and a few other upgrades - this is on an Off Road.

Cool that they separated those to give people a bit more choice/options. Sad though that it seems to have increased the overall cost by quite a bit. Hopefully the MT discount is good on it still.

The premium package included the tech package last year but I see that invoice charging for it separate. I could see a little extra for the cameras but not a charge for the whole tech package. I'm ready for the pricing to come out to see what the prices are for sure.

Dealers have this information now, but mine struggled to get me a comprehensive, brochure type listing of every option available so I could say yes or no. They had to put in an allocation to see some different builds, and I was able to back into the available options. For example, one of them had 'Door Guards', 'Mud Guards', 'Wheel Locks' (do people even steal wheels and tires anymore??) Tonneu cover and Predator steps, so I had to tell the dealer NO to these as I didn't want them. One of the DCSB OR builds had every option and MSRP'd around $44k

If you are waiting for the configurator, I believe it will be available when the first Tacomas are delivered, which is in about 2 weeks. I've placed my order for a Cement OR DCSB already, so I can tell you the items of note with regard to packages from what I saw on the allocation sheets the dealer showed me:

    - LED headlights are NOT standard, just the DRL's - the full headlight LED package is a $485 charge (I elected for this, I can't see anyone not getting this package)
    - Full premium package is available, its listed as ~$3,600 for an Off road (No to this b/c of headroom with the moonroof)
    - A separate 'premium' package is available for $2295, code EE, and includes JBL, dynamic and connected NAV services plus dual zone climate control but NO moonroof  or leather (I elected for this package)
    - Tech package carries over from last year @ $770 (I elected for this, simply so I could get color matched rear bumper caps)
    - Advanced tech is the MTM and is inclusive of the tech package for $1675
    - Blackout package adds black badging, TACOMA tailgate insert, and black exhaust tip for $415 (I elected for this)
    - The OR MSRP base is only $200 higher than last year

With destination, I'm at $38,375 MSRP.

Also for those who are panicking on dealers charging MSRP because its a 2020, and asking if everything under the sun can be retrofit to a '19 since the deals are so great - my dealer has set, no haggle pricing and its nowhere near MSRP.
