+1 on contacting the BBB. Also a good idea to request some before and after pics of some previous work and maybe check another detailer in the area. $550 is not cheap but it will reflect a reasonable price if they do a nice job.

One other route to consider is buying a random orbital polisher and what you need to do the work yourself. There are plenty of videos on the web of what to buy and how to make it work and for less than what you were quoted you can buy the supplies and put in the time yourself whenever you need to. There is a learning curve, but it is not steep and with a random orbital polisher you have to be pretty dense or pretty careless to do damage.

I checked to have mine ceramic coat when it was brand new and Ceramic Pro wanted $1700. Too much for me. $550 sound like a deal. Just my opinion.

No. It's a term we locals unaffectionately gave to the flea marketers in Brimfield. Have to deal with them for three week long stints three times a year. May, July, and September. If you don't know about them or have to deal with them consider yourself blessed! Google "Brimfield Flea Market." Friggin nightmare! Not all, but for the most part rude, ignorant, @$&×%=/^*+÷#'s! But I digress.

Gotcha. Wasn’t sure if it was a New England term for something else.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
Not careless, but sometimes dense. As you say, there's a learning curve. If someone else is willing to let me gain experience by working on THEIR ride, great. Otherwise, I'm best kept away from a power polisher.

No doubt in my mind that you could handle it. That said it is labor intensive, but I won't let anyone other than myself even wash my Tacoma.
My wife God Bless her details the inside and does an exceptional job!

6" Rough Country. Planning on upgrading tires to 33's this week. Hard decision since these tires are only couple months old lol but were biggest I could fit at the time without doing any cutting.

Wouldn't it be nice if some enterprising individual made coverslips similar to those we put on our cell phones and head units? Million dollar idea!
    Hint, hint.

That's a mod I'd be on like a dog on a t-bone! Cleaning that thing without scratching the hell out of it is a real PITA!!

I agree, I have no doubt you could handle it. You would almost have to deliberately want to cause damage to cause damage or be super careless. I practiced on my wifes 2005 Nissan Altima that is silver in color that has a few dings, scratches and small dents. Once I had the hang of it I used it on other vehicles. You can always find a relative who does not really care that much and will jump at the opportunity to have their car "waxed" for free.

Watch a few how to videos on the web and see if it looks manageable to you. That only takes your time.

Changed all 6 speakers to the Kicker from Crutchfield! I used a deadening material inside the doors as well. Man, what’s difference. Great bass and mids now and I don’t have to crank it up all the way to hear it.
