Drove my truck 32k miles last year, all good. Now back to the topic lol.

Just grab some replacement boots and roll. If you need to swap later I would recommend RTX from Icon

I’m interested in jumping ship to the icon pack but I’d also like to know how far it’ll droop. Not sure if anyone knows?

I decided not to do a 63 swap, so I’ll be doing archives hammer hangers and shock tower relocation with 14” shocks.

I wanna be able to use the 14” with a leaf pack that would compliment the amount of droop/flex.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Take the boots off and run em. The boots just trap water and grit against the shaft seals anyway

Just a heads up, you bought the wrong rear shocks if you’re calling the rears 5100’s and not 5150s or any other number. You’ve limited the height your leafs can extend.

As in below photos note the extended length. You’re loosing an inch. Check your part numbers on your bill of sale.

Back when our 1st gens were new people just drove the damn things. You've seen the pictures of frames broke in half right? That doesn't happen overnight.

    Mostly stuff I built.
Those boots will do more harm to than good in most cases...cut them off.

OME spring are designed that way they have a “Flat seat area”. Page below is a good read if you are unsure on how OME springs differ from common aftermarket springs.

Call Deaver. You can run a 12-14” with the Deaver pack. You’ll pay for it but you’ll be getting the best.
