Finally got new wheels and tires put on this thing.

Or in my experience: $nap-Off !! Hate those tools (because of the price). They did not last even remotely close to how long my Proto tools lasted. Proto was 1/2 the cost too!

A side-by-side comparison of the same tools doing the same job and only by my hands. Day after day aircraft maintenance for over 15 years. (1/4 socket, 5/16 socket, 9/16 combo wrench, 11/16 combo wrench were the main failures. And then there were the professionally re-calibrated torque wrenches (3/8 dr click type). The Proto never required ANY adjustment, the $nap-off was constantly falling out of allowable tolerance. Re-Cal was every 90 days and documented).

Note: both brands did require warranty replacements. It's just that the Proto only needed it once for every 3 or 4 $snap-Off replacements. Warrantied due to wear. Although a $nap-Off torque wrench did break one time because of a manufacturing flaw and $nap-Off would NOT cover it. This was on a dial-indicating type torque wrench and the flaw was two small holes drilled into the wrench handle/frame used to mount a wire cage to protect the dial. The handle cracked straight across the bottom from hole to hole. Shitty design for such an expensive tool.

Edit: Yep, I have, like, and sometimes use my VERY old SK tools. Quality items for sure!

 

I have a fancy-schmancy CVT already, just thinking about moving it from a trailer to the truck bed

 

Adjust by actual order of importance and you should do better.

I'm surprised, I've never had a problem.
Then again most of my hand tools are Craftsman and I'm not a mechanic nor do I use them constantly day in and day out.

Installed my MPG mod. Off the line torque is awesome now (I beat Teslas from stop lights) and city MPG is in the 36s, 39 if I’m gentle and take off in 6th.

Only drawback is less hp on top for some reason. Will have to look into it.

 

Yes even for the chicago area it sounds about right.
