    I'd give that a try.

My dad likes to fry up polenta cakes - they're basically fancy Italian grits shaped like a hockey puck.

I like my CBH a bit more crispy than that. With ketchup. And 2 eggs over easy on top. Gravy on the home fries and maple syrup on the scrapple.

Friend and I that I shoot with have been stopping at greasy spoon diners across Wi. Iowa and Mn. when we travel to shoots in search of the best CBH. Still searching, but there is a place down in Iowa that comes very close. And like every other place around here they don't ask, they just bring the ketchup.

I tried something at the track that is so simple and awesome.
We have a bbq or something with the ground pounderz every race.

Now I love tacos.... have it 3 or 4 times a month..
So a change up on that.

Take a bag of Dorito’s or similar.
    Open the bag.
Crush the bag contents into smaller bits.

    Add
    Hamburger
    Salsa
    Tomato bits
    Lettuce
    Etc.
Close it and turn it all around ,upside down etc, and shake it real good.
Open a eat right from the bag with fork or spoon.
    Friggin awesome
    No plates to dirty.
    Toss in the trash..

    Ye haaaaaa

Downtown Fort Wayne Indiana has a diner that is built from two shipping containers, one above ground and one below (basement storage). Their CBH is crispy, served under eggs, and you can have bacon or sausage chopped up in it.

It made having travel there for work worthwhile.

Where do you find scrapple in the midwest? Must confess I've never looked for it there; only had it with my Chief in NJ.

Bacon, egg, and cheese on a toasted Portuguese roll with Ketchup and Mayo is my poison.
If the spirits move me, I'll add a hash brown on it. :cookiemonster:
