they've been going down hill on sales for many years. Then when getting "carded" for pistol ammo, its quite ridiculous...

I agree, usually only buy shells from there when I’m in a pinch. Hopefully some of the local gun shops can now get better deals or pricing now and pass it on. A few places local to me, are overpriced. Usually always cheaper for me to drive 35 min to Cabalas or another bigger box retailer. I doubt that will happen. They just can’t order the ammo like these big stores.

Just shoot a few jacketed rounds through it when you're done with the lead.

I bought my first rifle and shotgun from Walmart years ago. Still almost the same prices today. I liked the shotgun ammo for just shooting/plinking. its always been pretty cheap. I'll just have to hit up gunshows other places now. No big deal.

Look at Saigas. There were built in the same building that Russia's military AKs were built in.

Arsenals build most of their rifles but they also put out some customized Saigas... Think it was the SGL line.

Also add Vepr to the list of solid Russian AKs

Looks like lead build up. Sell that ammo and try something different.
As far as lead cleaner I think I have used Shooter's Choice.

I wouldn’t shoot anything through that. That looks unsafe. Can’t even see the rifling.

I agree, That much lead needs to be removed and NOT by trying to shoot it out. Lewis Lead remover or similar needs to be used. That ammo is trash.

Good luck. That’s probably going to be a pain. Good thing it’s only a pistol barrel.

Well, I've spent a bit of time on this thing, and I've got some results. I'm certainly not finished, but here's what I've got so far:
