The question i have if anyone can help out is why the right rear wheel sits about .25-.5" wider than the left.

I have checked tire pressure and switched the wheels in the rear and its still the same. i have even measured the travel in the rear. Still super confused. I can post photos soon.

Could it be suspension or leaf springs? Please help lol.

Your bed needs to be centered on the frame, not uncommon.

Probably just tolerance on body/frame mounting etc. This is why the wheel center to fender is a stupid measurement for lift between vehicles and only valid for your specific vehicle.
To check, get a true 4 wheel alignment, they’ll tell you if there is any problem with rear axle not aligned / offcenter.

Mines is almost exactly the same difference side to side. I noticed it when I put spacers on and again when I put mudflaps on. I try not to look too closely at it and eventually I’ll forget about it UNTIL somebody has to bring it up on here

Hell Yeah! they are going to do it here today at the dealership i work for. Didn't think it would have anything to do with and alignment.

I don’t think this is true across the board. If I push my bed over it won’t line up with the cab and my front wheels look even iirc

Your bed is out of alignment with the body. If you look at the first two pictures you posted, follow the reveal of the bed in relation to the cab and you can see how offset if it. Simple fix if you want to do it yourself..

Mine did the same thing when I added bora wheel spacers. I took measurements and couldn’t find out why it looked like that. So I just took them off. Guess it’s fairly normal.

Loosen the bed bolts (big silver honkers on the floor of your bed) and have a buddy help you shove the bed over a smidge then tighten them sumbithces down. It really is a small cosmetic thing and you'll most likely only get so far unless you're lucky enough to get the bed to line up, but the attempt is free. The post earlier about "tolerances" wasn't a joke. These things are assembled by machines and men and sometimes things go slightly askew.

My 86 has this as does my '12, both passenger rear tires stick out a hair more than driver's side. At first I thought it was the panhard bar shifting over when lifting the rear but its not. I read somewhere once that its intentionally done for handling purposes. Don't ask me anymore than that, I just vaguely recall it was for US roads.
