    I just assumed ownership maybe month ago. Reason I just had have it it’s looks brand new frame, engine, interior for the age and miles they musta baby it.

    Nice edit.

    Texas isn't any different than any other hot dry place that doesn't have the elevation needed to salt the roads in winter. (Central CA, NV, AZ, etc...)

    But Houston/Galveston never sees any salt water, does it...

    Yeah, you're going to want to get religious with cleaning it and protecting it with fluid film. There are a bunch of threads that people post how they go about it.
