What camera setup is this? I have a big trip planned for next year and this looks perfect!

Guess what? I have to go back to these Eibach 25mm spacers. Because of the Brembos the 1/2 inchers that I switched would not work so I ordered 3/4 spacers but they weren’t enough either. So I am back to square one. The 25mm spacers are going back on. Thanks to the longer studs I don’t have to use the studs pressed into the spacers. I knocked the “wheel adapter” style studs out and the wheels are gonna clear!

I believe I have tracked down the stalling problem. I bought a fuel pump to replace the walbro 255 lph in tank pump. I dropped the tank and removed the pump/sending unit assembly. Once I removed I could see that a wire is overheated. It is the ground wire to the pump. I will trace the circuit to the chassis ground and repair as needed. Fortunately I was able to find a replacement sending unit on ebay.

The car is up and running again! Sending unit and fuel pump have been replaced. I even replaced the connector that plugs in to the sending unit assembly. I tried to locate the ground for the circuit and I believe I did but the book says I cleaned up the wrong one. But everything is working and less than 1 ohm on ground to to chassis so I think we’re good. I drove it around quite a bit today.

I took it to work. It pulled just like it has in the past. Love it. Second gear is still a pain in the ass and more power would be great. Now that the Brembos are installed I am ready for a track day. I need to get video back in the game. Wish I could afford 2 to 3 gopros to do video the right way! But I am gonna work the problem! So I am back to a list of things to do! Dash and console swap, transmission upgrade to six speed, and engine upgrade even though the engine that is in there right now is perfectly adequate! There is a lot of bodywork to do. Looks like I have to learn bodywork. Thanks to all you guys and gals stickin’ around! If you have a car that you love and love to drive, then you know where I am. I actually miss driving this car when it’s down. And if you’re lucky enough to catch me out on the roads of NJ and PA driving the Daddywagon then you know I like driving it. Upshifting... downshifting... one hand out the window... showing off... pulling away on the highways turning other cars into small dots in my mirrors, I very much enjoy this car and will gladly talk with complete strangers about it on a regular basis.

2CD1064F-E2B8-4130-AB05-7EA546B3DA65.jpg One day I’ll will find my dads wagon. God I miss that thing. Flipping over seats while going down 2 lane roads on our way to northern Wisconsin. My older sister thinking she was going to get the backseat. Our little baby sister sleeping. My German shepherd licking windows. Ahhh one day. You are inspiring me.

Damn you @nelztaco , damn you!
I don’t have a lift on the Tacoma yet!
I still have stock wheels on the Tacoma.

Yes. Ford sells a kit to upgrade the brakes on a 94-04 mustang to the Brembo brakes found on the 2000 Cobra “R” mustang!

I have similar memories with my dad’s station wagons! I say wagons because I can recall 3 of them. A VW square back. Me and my 2 younger brothers were roasting on top of that engine. Then came the Plymouth Volare wagon, and finally the 1977 Country Squire. That car was green inside and out! I saw one just like it for sale a couple of years ago but was not able to acquire it. Like you said... one day...

Haha! It has the perfect woodgrain motif to go with the wagon!
