    I hate the thought of cutting up my 2018, especially right before the PA winter, but that’s what I’m looking at if I don’t want to run 255/265 tires for the next couple years! Is it a big deal? How do you combat rust?! Any other concerns?

    Any competent shop knows how to rust proof the cut and weld. I've never seen one with anything more than slight surface rust on the filler plate.
