Did you have to do any rub remediation to fit the RAy 10s? Could you share some pics of front or back to see the stance with that -10mm offset?

After some research on this forum, I only installed +1 sized SL rated tires on purpose to try and keep the gas mileage similar to stock, while not needing a suspension lift.

There are a few people on this forum that have the same wheels and tires that only reported minor rubbing. I have not noticed any rubbing, but keep in mind that I only have had this set up for a few days.

Attached pics of the stance per your request.

Thanks again! Man not sure if it’s the wheels, tires or both but your rig looks so much stronger than my wimpy one (#726). You mightve just convinced me to stick w 265 and not lift and cmc ....for now

I like how it turned out so far. Wheels and tires do make a difference. Being a fan of monster trucks, I would love to get 285s, 2.5" lift, CMC, UCAs, ECGS bushing, diff drop, etc. I commute 45 miles a day so fuel economy is my priority at the moment. This wheel/tire set-up only adds around 4 lbs per corner over stock. So far, I see a less than 0.5 mpg drop.

It's all about what you are doing with your truck, if you need 285s and a lift for your activities, I say go for it. Other than it being my daily driver, I will be using this truck for camping trips that may see some mild off road trails.

Knowing me, I will continue to lurk on TW, see some cool rigs, and my plan to stick with stock suspension and 265s will be out the window. But for now, I still have some mods sitting in my garage that will be keeping me busy (Katzkin leather, Taco Tunes audio upgrade, TRD Pro Skid plate, and black OEM rear bumper covers).

Ha, I'm in the exact same boat and have no business considering 285s and everything associated with it, but just can't help myself! with as good as your rig looks, I should just do the same, and slow play the 285 mods..otherwise, if I do it now, lord knows what i'll start obsessing over next! and to think i bought a taco to save $$ on it's great resale value..smh. thanks again.

How does the Cavalry Blue paint hold up in terms of scratches and dirt? I read somewhere one guy said it shows scratches pretty easy. Can anyone weigh in on this for me please?

Scratches super easy. I think all the taco’s paint does.
Doesn’t show dirt bad, not like black, but it does show some.

Do the scratches show more like they do on black paint? Or a lighter color? Somewhere in between?

Ummmm in between. I’ll take a picture of the scratches on my truck tomorrow.
