And a check mark in the plus column for Arizona vs. Florida. With all the Amish around here was surprised that it isn't available here.

It's tough, just gotta lower your head and run (ok, roll) head first at it. I went as far as to reading labels and cutting it all out. Guess what, you need salt, don't do that. But, a good start is don't add salt at the table. If you do have to use canned vegetables, rinse them. Skip restraunts till you get a handle on it then only once a week or less. Most everything already has salt naturally so you're going to get it anyway.

Yeah, I never add salt. I buy low salt chips. Only drink about 2 soda's a week. Not overweight at all. Guess i just need to give it a couple of weeks to get some better results. Going to a health food store this weekend to see what they have that can help.

This is my friends 3/4 scale late model with a 55 chevy body that races pavement oval and road course events . Has some cool parts like a TCI Circlematic Powerglide and racing style rear axle with fluid cooler pump

Don't worry about health food stores unless you want to spent more money. "Organic" in agriculture just means they use more biologic and less pesticides and herbicides. If you do want organic, go to the mainstream grocery store and shop their organic. They tend to not raise their prices as much and are usually cheaper than health food stores. You usually get fresher fruits and vegetables in mainstream stores because more people shop there so they have a higher turnover. They both have about the same choices of produce because they only sell what's in season whether it's imported or not.

Ok, come here for the winter. We'll break you of hash and ketchup, teach you how to make and eat tacos....and bring lobster. Even though I've never been there, I have had Maine lobster sent to me by some National Guardsman I worked with from there. It was pretty awesome.

Edit: Don't forget scallops. They sent those too.

I thought about looking for some natural products to help with bp issues. I dunno. My doc is an idiot. Every time I bring up the fact about me being handicapped and what that might be doing to me or what I should do about it, he just tells me that is not his expertise, and wants me to contact a rehab center. Rehab centers don't deal in internal organs, you damn numnut doc. In fact I have been searching far and wide for any damn doc that knows any damn thing about people who are in my situation, still work everyday, still try to live a normal life and want help doing so. Ah, heck. Rant over. I get super pissed just talking about docs.

Hope you feel better fast Andy.

    :smack: team KETCHUP RULES!!!! :D

    Who eats CBH?? :puke:

Take your BP first thing in the AM. That's when it should be the lowest. When do you take your meds? Morning or night? Take your monitor the next time you go to the doc to compare it to what they get.

    Or a farmers market.

    Find a new doc?!?!?

 evening all..... waiting on Dorian to arrive and then DEPART!!!! You guys see the pics coming out of the Bahamas??

You just need a 12 step program that deals with bad condiments and questionable use of leftover roasts. You can do this.

My first question would be have you verified your BP machine at the Dr`s . Second question is do you take it more than once . First should be done I had one machine that was so far off it went in the trash at the Dr`s office ( Homemedics Wally world unit) . Second always take it twice cause you can screw yourself up sweating what the numbers will be. I hover in 175 / 85 ish using metoprolol twice a day.

Another tid-bit I learned is always sit still, don't talk or move and always put your arm in the same position.

When it is time to find answers...

Jax Florida would be closest to you

Scottsdale, Az. is an option for some

The mother ship and Foundation is in the land of ice and snow in Mn. But it is the Epicenter

I might be a bit biased. But they are ranked #1 in the Country if not the world judging by those that come here.

This. At the grocery store tonight got my romaine and leaf lettuce from the organic section and usually do. Organic has never been proven to be better than non organic but it sure looks a hell lot better than the stuff cramed into a plastic bag. My tomatoes came from a hydroponic farm not far from here. And I have no issues with GMO, it has yet to be proven harmful.

OK a negative in the Az. column and always has been a concern for me after 20 years of living on the coasts. Then again frozen seafood is not as bad as some say. In fact I'll take it over something not frozen and "fresh" at a seafood market that has been sitting out all day, ugh.

I ate a 6 lb. lobster in Boston once. And I ate the whole thing... But I was much younger not sure I could pull off a 4 pounder today.

Inversion tables are awesome. I really like mine. I just can't say enough about it. And it seems the older I get, the better it works and the better I feel.
