Yes poly 80 will no longer ship to Washington state, their lawyers advised against it due to our states wording. I just bought 2 from rainier arms, there are still people that have them here and there are still other online businesses that will ship here.

A few sellers are being really timid on this. There is a good thread on this at waguns.org

My understanding is its sort of a wording and sillyness sort of thing.

TDLR version is the law states you cant have a firearm with less than some amount of metal in in (like 3oz? or something). Once "machined" the 80% lower then becomes a "firearm" but has no metal in it so it fall into the "undetectable" category. Even though you have nothing but a frame.

Only applies to the Polymer 80% stuff in that regards.

The RCW definition that covers “firearm” does not encompass just a lower or receiver. So technically there is no state definition for a frame/receiver as a firearm, just the federal definition. In order to complete the “firearm” per state law with a Poly80, you have to add the slide and barrel, and thus exceed the steel weight minimum.

Yes, but is Poly80 willing to risk being sued by the state. :p But y'all could always pick up down here in Oregon and enjoy no sales tax too.

Anyone know if Taran mag extensions are compatible with the G19X? Just need to remove the lanyard loop?

You gotta ditch the lanyard loop. I have TTIs and a G19X, they are not compatible with the loop in place, but good to go without.....

I seem to recall $20 to $30 for new GI mags, maybe $15 if they were beat up. Supply due to being military surplus meant they were usually easily found. But you really only had 2 choices: GI-contract supplier and early Polymer stuff that sucked (Ramline, Thermold, ProMag).

Pistol mags were the ones that cost a fortune. I paid $80 for drop-free G23 mags. :(

What the anti-gunners don't realize is that the quantity of "high cap" magazines and "assault weapons" is exponentially higher in 2019 than 1994. Easily a factor of 50x, probably higher. I don't know anyone with an AR that doesn't have at least 12 mags, PER AR, on hand.

Raises hand....I dont have 12 mags for my 308 or another AR type. But Im not lugging the 308 anywhere...shes a heavy ass girl even unloaded. The other one is one Ive never even fired....an old Olympic Arms 762x39 AR. Think it has like one 10 round magazine for it. Thats one I didnt really want but was one of those "to good to pass up" sort of deals. Hell I dont even know what magazines it takes for sure lol.
