Shipping might be killer on something this heavy but might be able to work it out with Greyhound or something, I'm not sure

I think @Kwikvette got his Wilco one shipped from out of state, might wanna see how he did it

Only 3 bolts were holding this bad boy in. The previous owners had pulled the trans for a clutch job in the last few years and didn't exactly remove it or reinstall like I would've. I'm getting used to expecting the worst on this truck and enjoying the process.

The slave cylinder lines are smashed and bent up. Think I can bend some tube and replace pretty easily. Then I'll pop a new Marlin HD clutch kit in with the new R150F and be good to go.

    Always fun to drop transmissions.

Did your roommate ever get the phase converter hooked up? I’m torn between a construction compressor trailer and a three phase compressor with a phase converter.

Today he went and got this Speedaire for $200. Think he's waiting on the 100 degree days to stop before climbing in the attic and wiring across the house. Edit: Who knows what the Speedaire is for. This guy really likes compressors.

I’m going to figure out what it’d cost to ship these before I start getting any hopes up. For now, I’d be more than happy to build one for anyone local. @eon_blue was gracious enough to let me use his truck for mock up but now that that’s all sorted out I can knock them out as ordered. I’ve been building modified versions of these for 2nd gens for a while but wanted to see what the differences would be on a first gen.

I too enjoy compressors. I’d really like to see how well that phase converter works.

I’ll post here once I find out. There’s a lot to logistics that people sometimes don’t consider. I’ve been making bed dividers for a while and occasionally ship. I just build things out of my garage but I like to package things the best I can to avoid any potential damage during transit- basically how I would like to receive a shipped item. All that packing material for odd shaped and/or heavy objects isn’t always easy to come by in small amounts and I don’t have the room to store a bunch of bubble wrap and cardboard or wood for pallets. My hope is that it can be reasonable enough to ship these where both parties can feel good about the transaction, but that’s something I have to figure out.

I’m working out final pricing but I expect it to be around the $550 mark. There will be a few options that make it customizable so that could fluctuate a bit.
