    Like many have stated, the 5.29’s have totally changed the drive of my truck. It is no longer searching for gears and holds speed consistently. Currently on 285/75/16’s with bed & roof rack and Decked box. Soon to be bumpers and winch. I am happy with the decision and now enjoy the ride much more. Thanks to everyone who have contributed to this thread. You helped make my decision that much easier to upgrade to 5.29’s. Cheers!

    Over a thousand miles since upgrading and the MPGs stayed nearly even at almost 17. It could probably do better if I was a little kinder.

    swapping a 3rd member is easier than doing the gears your self.

    I just ordered the 5.29 front and rear gear package from SDHQ (Nitro Gears) can anyone confirm if this kit contains everything required for the install? Are there additional components required? I've heard there are different bearings in the front differential that may be needed? Thanks

    The seals aren't top notch. Get you genuine Toyota pinion seals for the front and rear diff.
