lol They are great! 0 issues and 0 complaints. Since I only have smoothies in the rear and coilovers up front(No bypass shocks), it's nice to have that cushion towards the end of my travel.
I think everything is as dialed as I can get it without stepping up to bypasses. I'm really happy with how everything turned out.

I'm more upset than anything especially since my a few of my friends pitched in bought this for me as a birthday gift... I filed a police report. I know I probably wont get it back, but my friend said they will patrol the area more.
I got a hold of the Light Bar company and they said they would give me a huge discount basically at what they get them for.
Oh, and don't look at my crappy flux core welding lol.

All in all just kinda bummed out about it.

that's shitty man. Im sorry to hear that. People cant find anything better to do with their lives. About 6 months ago, someone decided to cut the wiring to my rear pods. Didn't steal the pods, just cut the wiring. I don't understand people

So my left knee got all bruised up from trying to pin myself in the seat against the door while I was bouncing around off road.
Bought a busted up NRG seat for $40. Took it all apart, replaced foam, glued foam, rewelded the frame and put it all back together. Still need to clean it with carpet cleaner or laundry soap or something.
I bought some harness on the way too.
It has sliders, but has infinity g35 mounts so I need to make some mounts for a Tacoma. It's just been so hot I don't want to be cutting and welding on my day off lol.

Doesn't anything new I don't think, but shes been working alot lately and has some extra money to spend!
We're looking for new leaf springs and the DSC adjustable coilovers. I want to try the deaver j59s. Her leafs in the rear are to stiff and high! We had to take out 3 leafs and the front extended Icon coilovers are almost maxed out in height to make it level.
We're looking to get her a daily driver car so we can make that Tacoma into more of a toy too lol.

This is my new daily! Bought in February and worked on it on my days off. Took like a month and a half to rebuild only working on it 1-3 days a week some half days and rainy days lol.

    lol I'm still alive!
I told myself after going to the Mint 400 I'd buy a real seat. Here it is! PRP Comp Elite.
Going to build a harness bar soonish.
I'm also on the fence about getting rid of my bed and building an actual bed cage. I don't "Daily" my Tacoma as much. Maybe drive it around for a month then my car 2 months back and forward. I took my tool box that I built the bolt in bed cage around so now there's a gap, as well as a bunch of random stuff I had in my cab. I was basically able to and did work on my truck anywhere with the stuff I had in the cab and tool box. Now my rear end bucks over the whoops.
Over the COVID-19 I took the AAL I had in my DMZ kit out and dropped the PSI in my rear smoothies. Haven't tested it yet.

I keep asking myself about the bed cage.
Do I fall in the rabbit hole? or just have fun with how it is...

What’s the idea behind how a bed cage would be better than your mini cage and the bed the way it is now?

It seems if you plan on removing the bed then the next logical move would be caging the cab. If that’s the eventual plan I’d just consider how the full bed cage would tie into a possible cab cage eventually.

Welp the bed cage is .08" wall (I think) and pretty sure was the 2nd thing I ever welded, flux core too lol. I broke it 3 times already . I was thinking of doing it all in .120" wall and didn't think the bed mounts would hold up. I have no extra bracing in the rear besides the stock cross members and stock bumper/tow hitch. I've been looking at cab cages and how they tie them into the bed cage. I just don't know how motivated I am on chopping up my truck even more lol.
Been thinking about it all a bunch just can't decide...

Hey Justin nice job making everything on your truck. A real inspiration to those of us who need to get under the hood more.

Do you have any specs on the frame mounting points for the truck? I want to make my own front bumper and didnt know if you used some plans or just a lot of cardboard and sharpies till you got the holes right.

    Thanks!
Yeah I just took off the stock crash bar and used the back of the it as my template to make the holes then stuck the cardboard on the truck and cut it down to fit and shape it. After that I put the whole 10ft tube on jack stands to the height and how sticking out I wanted and used cardboard again to make the beams coming off the bolt in plates to the tube.
