yes that is so funny. and true to be honest

i was at the stealership one day asking about price for a trd exhaust (saskatchewan). i asked him how much for a surpercharger just cuz i was curious. when he looked it up on his computer i laughed and said no body will ever buy that and walked away

    trd exhaust = $790 + install
dont remember the exact price for the supercharger but he honestly said i was looking at $8000 including install.

talk about stealership. canada toyota is terrible, from now on, anything i do with toyota should be through the states.

hopefully you have better deals in B.C

You can get the supercharger and fit kit for about $3600 here in the US, then its about an 8 hour install at the dealership if they have someone who knows how to do it. It will take longer if its a first time install.

That is so shitty there is such a price difference considering our dollars are about even now and have been for about two years. I have ordered everything through the states.

I know cost is always an issue, but if the dealership installs it, the warranty could be longer vs. installing it yourself......best situation (if its feasible) is to buy the Supercharger right off the bat with your truck new, that way installation from the dealership is free. I know this part does not apply to you, but hopefully someone else can benefit.

Thats exactly what I did, got all of my trd go fast goodies and made them install them. You can get a small discount on parts, but you can really force there hand with Labor costs when wheelin and dealin for a new truck.

If you're interested personally I'd make an appointment and do it in the states and save a ton of coin. Unless you're willing and able to do it yourself of course.
