Hey guys, my name is Ian, wanted to introduce myself and also ask for a favor.

I live in York and just took my 2018 (6MT) to get its 15k mile service and asked for them to update the ECM and showed them the TSB-00125-018 and they said that it isn't something they can just do (the TSB isn't a warranty issue blah blah blah) they have to diagnose it based on my complaint and then MAYBE they can do it. They also pretty much said that since the TSB is for years 16-17 and mine is an 18 that they probably won't do anything. I explained that the update is also for 18 and it depends what version mine is now and I basically said whatever and hoping for the best.

Anyway, what I'm getting at is if anyone in the area has the proper tactrix cable and knows about the update and can flash and install it and walk me through it, that would be awesome.

Just made my coworker cry. A fully grown, adult male was crying because I told him to do his job instead of sitting in the truck on his phone. o_O

:rofl:. Obviously he didn't grow up with an old man like mine. Cause if you're going to cry I'll give you something to cry about.

When I worked the garbage company I had an issue with my rear spotter lights and the strobes. So the head mechanic was working on the strobes and a new hire was working on my spotter lamp. And it was taking him entirely too long so I got pissed and told him I'd do it cuz I was pressed on time. Later that day I found out he quit right after I yelled at him to get off my truck so I could fix it myself.

The shitty part is, there was 2 guys there. The one is new and didn't know what to do. So the crier was gonna let him hang. The crier let me hang once when I got into it with another worker. He was there during the exchange of words, but when asked about it said he doesnt know anything. So my feelings about the crier are basically fuck you.

I generally don't speak up unless I know I'm right.
