I am going out on a limb here...It was Mrs @ingot with the spare key left in the center console.

Note I am giving you (@ingot) an out.

    Sorry. No time.
It was btwn the console and driver's seat, hiding down near the rail.
Honestly didn't think anyone would or should care where it was, so why waste keystrokes. Odds of anybody else's key falling at the exact same angle and wedging in the exact same location are slim to none.

PS, I only asked if there was a way to make the keyfob beep. That's all I asked. The thread grew a life of its own from there (and for the record, I don't think anyone actually answered the question I asked).

To answer your question, there is no way to make any of the keyfobs beep. Cant even do it by pushing buttons on the fob, let alone remotely.

So @ingot you asked about making it chime, and no one answered. I figured I would share this, it has seriously become a vital part of my life. I attach one of these to each one of my key rings. It is linked to the Bluetooth on my phone. So if I ever lose my keys I use my phone to make it start chiming. And if I ever lose my phone I can press the button on the tile attached to my keys and make my phone start ringing. So it's a win-win either way. For the money invest in the pro series that you can replace the battery, because they are only good for about a year.

I was commenting on this until I reread the last sentence. I liked tile, but quit after having to replace because of a dead battery. The fact that you can replace batteries now may make it worth another look.
