2.0 runs very well on my truck. I only get some stuttering weirdness below 2k under load, and only when not up to temp. Runs like a champ on the highway. For an 87 file, it has surprising power in 6th. Low end not nearly as good as 91 FOB but I wasn't expecting that. Throttle has numbed a bit over time, but that has happened with every file since the beginning.

I was thinking today how horrid the 1-2 shift could be on these trucks when stock. Clunk, clang, jolt... lol, with the tune inboard and the accumulator in the dumpster, there's no more of that!

100% agree. I had the tune long before I managed to find time for the ADM and it definitely helped. The ADM made things nearly perfect.

Yes, once you get the cable or hh etc you hook it up to the truck to get the ecu version.
It will matter in terms of what tune you need to download and flash.

2.0 87 Beta on my truck has been getting consistently 21-24mpg with varied driving. I'm very happy with the improvements over 1.05 I was running before.

I like ECT too, but I think I broke my button. It doesn’t seem to do anything on this new 2.0 Am I the only one? :/

On 2.0 base file 04A61 here recently I’ve been having 1100rpm lug pretty bad. It feels the same as a manual when you go from 1st to 4th instead of 2nd gear. I’m almost through my first full tank of 93 on 2.0 base which was a mix of 2 different gas stations so I’m not sure if I may have gotten some bad gas. I’ve also had some weird shifting behaviors such as 2nd gear hanging for a few seconds before shifting to 3rd, upshifting then downshifting at times that it doesn’t seem necessary and when it realizes it didn’t need to downshift it shifts back again. I thought it may just be the tune settling since it’s my first tank on the tune but I just wanted to post and see if anyone has similar occurrences. I will send to zendesk also but just wanted to post my experiences on here.

It's the same for me. I don't even use it anymore since it doesn't seem to add anything. With 1.05 you could feel it but oh well the shifting and tip in are light years ahead of that version.

17 TRD Sport, 04B04, 1.05 87 GL, 33” tires...... been running for 2 weeks. Tip in is SO much better and holding gears as well. Still playing with ECT and GL which work we’ll on different situations ( hwy/ city/ etc...) Probably switch over to 91 octane before I jump to 2.0. :pccoffee:

1.05 question, I'm still on 04B02,going to be pulling about 5500lbs this weekend with some rolling hills. Seems like most people have been happy using 87 perf with gear lock, is this the case? Thanks

You should update to 04b04 and run the 2.0 beta. That’s the ideal situation anyway

I would like to, but running out of time to download TechStream, then the 04B04, then 2.0 beta. I know it's straight forward from what I've read, but I've got this guy called Murphy who keeps messing with me....

Yes, update to B04 first. Either Techstream or visit your dealer and basically insist on the ECU update and latest TSB. I can’t speak for 2.0, but 1.05 87 GL works pretty good, and 91-93 octane adds more HP
