    Nope. 0.1935"

3/16" is 0.1875" and would probably do fine. I don't know what size I used since I just eyballed it up with the screws.

You can get a cheap drill kit or a single bit from just about any home improvement store or hardware store.

I used a 3/16. That makes the screws thread into the plastic sightly. After i made the holes, i ran the bit through again with a slight wobble. If you don't,then while tightening you may stress the plastic a bit. Also having it that tight makes threading the ram balls a hair harder.

When I installed mine, I just took my drill bits and figured out which one worked. I don't remember which one it was but it's a very forgiving design. It is better to be a hair to big than too small.

FYI I bought this, it is a POS in my opinion. Can't tension itself enough so with all the slack shakes around and loosens like crazy. Picked up one of the double ball arms with two 3" and will go from there.

Install complete came out great. Now just have to run a power supply and cords under dash to keep it clean! Need to find a good holder for a Garmin InReach Explorer+

That sucks. It'd ping RAM. They should stand behind it (or refund you) and might appreciate the feedback?

Definitely. They are a good company and stand behind their products in my experience.

Anyone know what the thread pitch is for the long Allen screws that mount the balls? Is it 10/32?

Any update on the code? I tried all last night to order with the Labor Day code and it wasn't working.

Yup. RAM. Get their mic mount and the diamond ball mount. Good to go.

I think you can use one of these:
    https://www.rammount.com/part/RAM-VC-MC

With a ball mount like this:
    https://www.rammount.com/part/RAM-B-238U

You may want to call up and see what they recommend. I don't know if the hole spacing is correct. They have several options for ball bases so they may have something else that would work.

These are the correct parts. Would've linked, but a lot of sites are blocked on my work computer. Had to run outside and check the links with my phone.
