    Guys

I'm replacing the front struts / whatever they are called and ran into an issue with the lower control arm on my 06 5 lug- It wont drop! I disconnected the strut / spring and got them out, but I'm noticing the Lower Control Arm has springs that wont let me push it far enough out of the way to slide the new stuff in. I marked / loosed the cam bolts and disconnected the steering knuckle so the LCA isn't connected to anything but....any advice or tips would be great from someone who has done this before

i'm replacing the struts with below. Appreciate the help!

You need to rent a spring compressor at the auto parts store.

Are you using the method where you use the floor jack to push up the whole assembly and undo the bolts? I hope you have a good way to get the coil back on.

Yes I am using the floor jack to push up entire assembly - I do not have a good way to get the coil back on, I was assuming I could use the floor jack to compress everything back in place like many on this forum have done?

Hey man, if you’re one for danger, go for it. Just be careful.
