One of the biggest things that I miss about my second gen. Like most things in life it's all about the bottom line. Think of how many Tacomas they are going to sell when people get rear ended. It takes very little to total one out this way. Leaning towards replacing mine with something more substantial but once again it'$ all about the money.

Did you use the OEM coil springs in the front or after market?

 

Yup. We find this infuriating. I bought the dual climate control for a reason. But when I want to blast cold air, she has to turn her temp up to Hi or suffer the cold air leaking through the vents. Have been planning to stick foam to the back of the vents to try and get a better seal.

 

...then there is the issue with fracking(dumping liquid "toxic who knows what") in the ground and think in isn't contaminated for the next 100 years.
But that should be on a different thread.

No problem, what would Colorado like to know?? If it's how to grow better herb, just ask, we will share the knowledge. Can't grow OG with out the ocean, and last I checked, not a lot of coast line up in Colorado.

 

Lots of adhesive backed rubber gasket material out there, might be worth exploring. Can't imagine that there is much space to do something like that though. Maybe some rubber roll roofing cut to shape or some other type of sheet rubber. I've seen it as thin as .060". That and some plibond contact cement might work. Or maybe you could cover the whole thing from behind the cover with just a few small slots to restrict the air flow. Trial and error on the slits. Just a couple of thoughts. Good luck!

And electricity... lots of Midwest states send their surplus that way.

 

Of course many Coloridians can't even catch the rain water off their roofs due to very strict water rights and folks in other states can catch all the acid rain they want.

Finally got TSB-0125-18 done (surge issue, 2017 manual transmission).
Had to do a bit of shaming to my service advisor (@ Stevinson Toyota East in Denver [Aurora]), but he grudgingly agreed.
Shifting into 2nd is now so much smoother, and it just feels better all around, like an MT should!

 

Good to go Marcus? That is about it for the mods except the BUSHWACKERS That I still need to install. Can't show the 4.88 gears. Or the ECGS bushing.
