I don't know about you guys Im a 2004. I ordered the kit from trail gear. I put a few miles on today going from Seattle to West and East Rimrock. That being said, the only changes I made were taking off the lip diff side of each caliper so the 15deg fittings would point to the diff and up instead of straight back. Then on the Calipers the pads ride on the body not the pins, so I took off the paint and polished the surface they ride on so they stopped getting hung up. For the bracket I smoothed all the hard edges out with a worn flapper wheel, and added hard washers in between the back of the hub and bracket. That way it was sitting against a smooth flat surface instead of the hub casting bumps.

I used the Line lock I all ready have installed, while up by Blue slide I went on a hill side and locked it in. Then put it in reverse and it didn't budge. It has no problems locking up the rear brakes on pavement it I give it 3/4 instead of 60/40 with the proportional valve.

My insurance rental is this thing. Nice truck but I definitely feel more at home in my Taco.

was that you with the totally stock Trailhawk up the Fortune Creek trail that got the flat a couple weeks ago? I was pretty impressed, but I think it was actually a brand new 2019...everything was bone stock and dude was going hard in the paint with it. Got a flat, but mostly because he was going balls out fast down the road I think and gashed a tire open. After they changed the tire they were off in a cloud of dust.

Nope. I am a slow sensible driver. Also I have been in Portugal for the last 2 weeks so I hope it wasn’t mine

    Wait
    Drive it like it’s stolen?

Does anyone know about the AWD system on a 2013 highlander?

I have what will probably be an non-repairable tire (finish nail through the shoulder). The tires are at 8/32 (10.5/32 new). Can I replace two tires on the same axle, or do I need to replace all 4?

Soooooo i have a lot of confusion about this. Supposedly anything greater than 4/32 is too much for the GX, but my wife drives an IS350 F Sport AWD and has a donut spare. I dont know what to believe.

I can't find anything in the manual that states an allowable size difference for the highlander. It does have a full sized spare though. It seems to me that tires would vary by a few 32nds in overall size just due to manufacturing tolerances.

Depends on what kind of center differential it has. Is it Torsen, viscous, another type?
