No, that one i think I got, its the other small white connector. I can see from the pictures the larger one, but not quite sure on the smaller one. Hope that makes sense.

right below the larger connector. They're both to the right of the cabin air filter.

Yes, it is quite packed in there.

Thanks for jumping in guys. Updating instructions is still on my list. I just haven't gotten to it yet. I will be trying to finish it this weekend, but the honey-do list isn't getting any smaller.

Did my install today, nice and easy. The wiring harness is worth it's weight to not have to cut the stock wiring! I put my switch in the center switch bank, the blank just pried right out.

One gripe: the switch "backlight" seems to be wired to ignition and not lights, like the stock switches.

Thanks lapoltba and big white trd!

That is correct. Backlight is always on for the text. Stay tuned for a simple add on PnP to get stock illumination.

This is what I love about the community. There is a solution for every problem I can think of! (And between you and KTJO, it is usually PnP too.)

2low mod installed, tested and verified working...

install went smooth, one thing that I ran into that I seen mentioned, was when pulling the glovebox, be careful of the upper edge where it is tucked in behind the pad. don't want to just yank straight back, you may tear the pad. but with a gentle wiggle and downward pressure it popped free.

Took about 90 minutes start to finish.

That pad is actually easy to pop off before pulling on the glove compartment. I forgot to mention that and, I will be adding it to the instructions when I get to them. Right behind it is a good place to tuck away and zip tie the extra swtich wire.

For posterity... received, installed and tested with the boat for about a month now.

No snapped axles. Works great as long as I remember to turn it off before I switch out of 4WD. Otherwise it complains until I restart the truck. I was thinking about a mod to drop the relay out from the 4WD switch so this only needed to be a momentary switch to get it started but then I realized I'm lazy and that's never going to happen or I'd have already done this on my own without fancy harnesses and connectors ;)

Good enough. It solves my need nicely as is.

I think the best part of this is how fast it is to engage and disengage. Makes it way more convenient

One option is to turn off the 2Lo switch as soon as the truck successfully shifts the transfer case into Low. (as long as you dont shut off truck and restart it expecting it to stay in 2Lo that works fine, it will switch to 4lo on restart unless the 2Lo switch is pushed in or you spin the dial to 2hi)

    0 problems installing, thank you!

Had a little trouble finding the ecu, but I just grabbed a dental mirror and started reading shit. "Oh, duh there it is".

I know, I'm biased, but it works fantastic in the manual.

    I have the 5spd 4 banger, fwiw.

Just took a spin around town and it's exactly what I needed for towing my travel trailer. There just wasn't enough power in 1st to get going(in certain situations), ended up being very hard on the clutch while camping up in Vermont.

I'm headed up to 11k elevation soon, which really sucks the life out of the 4 banger... not even sweating it now.

I was taching 3k RPM in 5th gear @ 35mph, which is perfect.

2 years back, heading into Estes Park, CO from Lyons I had to be going close to 50mph in 3rd to have enough power to accelerate. Not exactly safe when carrying a lot of weight on the twists and turns of N. St. Vrain. I look forward to this trip now.
