Glad to hear it. I've been keeping a side-eye on Dorian since it started, and this storm has been a weird sum-da-bitch from the beginning. What it was forecast as, what it became, what it actual did, and now, finally, it seems like it is acting "normally", curving up, heading to the north Atlantic.

About the same in Superior National Forrest in the Mn. Arrowhead. The USFS, County and State Forrest roads are not all mapped at least correctly. From topos to GPS systems. And none of the 3 have the resources either money or manpower to maintain them all to begin with. When someone says just running forest roads I am tempted to say follow me. And on many of them I end up turning around, you go on through if you're feeling that froggy.

Mother nature reclaims them fast and in a few years you can't even tell they are there. I carry a chainsaw, I'm not there to open roads but for when I have to go back out and a tree has fallen and pinned me in so that I can get out.

Couple of years ago found a NF road that could hardly tell was still there. Walked it a little ways with a friend, it was full of dead falls and eventually gave up but we shot 2 grouse down it. On the way back out seen a brand new stop sign that we had walked by on the way in. Was so overgrown couldn't even see it from the County road that it was a spur from. But someone somewhere had told some poor guy he needed to go out and put up a new stop sign at XX, YY.

Hey watch it what's up with the drunken sailor! Gesh not all sailors, erh never mind..

Glad it was pretty much a non event for you and hope it is for most people.

I use Lawry’s mix and ground turkey. I’ll add some more paste in next time and see what I think.
