yea it really depends on where you are really. Where i am its like $900.00 a year for my condo (20 mins from Boca). We do pay $350 a month for HOA. Certain places are like $15k-$20k a year for prop taxes. Boca Raton and Miami are up there.

 

I forget how much more my SIL in Tampa paid in taxes for their house than we do here. Hers was cheaper, a little smaller and on a tiny lot while we are on ten acres and the property is valued $100k more.

We in the states have to continually pay the state for our vehicles. Every year we have to pay a "fine" to have the privilege to own a car or truck and drive it on the roads that are paid for by our taxes! Go figure. Not just the vehicle tax but a whole lot more! No shit!
