2 inch lift on 3rd gen tacoma

Is anybody running 275\70\17?

I am with 275s. No rubbing at all. Had to remove the front lower valance which I think looks better without. I have a pro comp 2” spacer for sale that I was running if you want it for $40 shipped

 

I've searched but just cant find exactly what I'm looking for. I use my truck so the suspension gets flexed quite often so im wanting to know how much lift needed for that tire size and also what offset I need. I've narrowed down what wheels but there lies another problem they are 9 inches wide.

 

I have 275/65/18, which are the same width and diameter, on 18x9 -12 offset:

 

Any rubbing and lift height?

 

OME 2” lift with JBA high caster UCAs plus 1/4” spacer for an extra 5/8” up front.
Zero rubbing.

 

Are the aftermarket uca a must on the 3rd gen at 2 inches? This is my first 3rd gen so just trying to piece it all together. Does it set level or high in the front?

What made you decide to go with the high caster? I’m lifted a little over 2” and it aligned fine but I’m looking at buying a set of jba’s

 

Are you running the full dakar pack in the rear?

No, this is the setup I have:

 

Sweet truck. Do you have anymore pics just curious of the stance and how far the wheels stick out beyond the fender flares.

When running larger tires setting your caster higher helps minimize rubbing. It moves the wheels/tires further forward so you don’t rub on the cab mounts.

 

Oh I understand that. I didn’t know if there was an advantage of running the jba high caster ones vs the jba regular ones

 

Have you guys seen anyone with this wheel it's a 16x8 with a -20 offset?

 

Roger that. I figure the high caster UCAs probably just make it easier to achieve a higher caster overall.
