Me too end goal is to become a fraud investigator. Corporate HR is crazy with some of the hoops you have to jump through and so impersonal. I had to reach out to our agency liasson just to get recognized. The good news is next step is straight to the hiring manager for interview

She's wants a t4r. I'm still undecided either we end up with 2 or I get another taco. Hers will stay stock but t4r pro wheels

Most likely. It's cheap better gas mileage than the truck etc. We keep our finances separate easier to manage. I'll give her more than she'll get on trade and have a reliable vehicle I know the history on. Win win

What are the odds that both idler pulleys take a dump on my Tacoma at the same exact time? I’m not sure, but it somehow happened. Sounds like a dozen crickets having an orgy. With these odds, I better get some lotto tickets tonight...

What side of the state are you? I have a place to do the work and would be happy to help.

4runners seem nice. Never even driven a new one but if the day came that I wanted something other than my tundra, I think it would be a 4Runner.

Sat in a 3g taco the other day and didn’t feel like I fit. I think it’s one of those things where once you have the space it’s hard to go back. Always loved my 2007 and felt like I had plenty of room for me.

My biggest knock on the 4 runner was how dated the tech and interior were. With the etune 3.0 upgrade in 2020 that makes it more appealing. Both have pluses and minuses just need to decide

I am not that impressed with the new version of the Taco. The interior just doesn't impress me and I won't get started on that trans/engine combo.

4runner is awesome I love mine but pricing is getting ridiculous on them and they are way outdated inside and out. Also the 4runner is super sluggish passing power is near non existent I’d take a long test drive in one before anyone buys one

To add to the 4runner discussion. Just went to check them out this evening with my girlfriend who is considering getting rid of her Model S because she misses being in an SUV. There is basically zero air conditioning in the rear of the 4runner. There are two measly vents down low in the back of the front row center console...thats it. None in the headliner or even the b-pillars for the people in the back seat and nothing at all anywhere near the third row. If you regularly have people in the 2nd row or dogs in the cargo area this could be a deal breaker in AZ. Also, they are ABSURDLY expensive for how dated and basic they are.

Had a 5th gen 4Runner for awhile before it got totaled. If I were to do it all over again, id get a 2-3 year older GX460 with similar mileage. The price would be similar and generally more negotiable, V8 torque with similar gas mileage, and way more refinement/tech/creature comforts.
