Just as the title states, can you share your photos of your CV boots if you have a lift of either 1.75" or 2.5"? Just doing a little research here and I'm curious how drastic the difference is between the two.

Also, if you've got a 2.5" lift (i.e. Billys @ 2.5"), I'm interested to know how many miles you've put on your truck, and what (if any) issues you've had related to your lift, diff, or CV boots.

I've searched and found a few photos with the wheel off the ground, which obviously isn't realistic.

    Thanks!

I'm new to this and all, but that angle doesn't seem harsh at all. Correct me if I'm wrong though... Any idea as to the vibes? Does it feel like its coming from the rear (lifted rear?), from the diff?

Thanks for posting the pic, I really appreciate it.

If anyone else can chime in with photos, it would help greatly.

    Thanks!

I know you asked for the 1.75" and 2.5" but here is my 3" and the diff drop.

I can tell a difference b/w this and the 2.5" lift in the CV boots. Is this considered pushing the limits? They definitely seem closer together. Any issues? Vibes?

The CV boots on the left in the photo seem worse than the other side.

Nope no problems. I had a small vibe but that was fixed with some carrier bearing spacers. I have about 6k on the lift so I would like to think that if I was going to have a problem I would have seen it by now.

STL im pretty sure its from the front(vibes).it a long drawn out story but it seems to b some get it and some dont.cant answer why though.i do no i had the 3" spacer lift and the vibes were REAL bad.took all that JUNK off and went to foxs set at about 2.5" and its a bunch better.so im going to say the cv angles were to much imo.again, some people get it and most dont.but it deff. wouldnt stop me from doing another one, thats for sure.

If anyone else has a 1.75" or 2.5" lift, it'd be helpful if you could chime in here with a photo of the CV boots. I think this could be a pretty helpful thread for a lot of people debating on lift heights.

Dont mean to bring this thread back from the dead, or hijack it, but I too am curious to see some more pictures of the CV boots with a 3" lift.

Like to OP, I'd like to see the cases of 2.5" in the front. The first picture looks encouraging.

heres a picture of mine with a 3" lift and diff drop. Does this look about right? Looks similar to the other person that posted a pic of their 3" boots.

Correct thats the general rule to follow, if the ribs are touching the chances of a rip or a role in the CV increases so the boots may not last as long
