Welcome to the club, nice truck! Leave the bedside decals, they look great on black and it sets your truck apart from the rest

    Hello everyone,
I am fairly new to Tacoma World. I own a 2013 Baja TRD. There is so much to read on this thread. My plan is to eventually run 33's. I understand with the lift that I have now, I would have to do a CMC in the front, remove the mud flaps, and most likely replace the leafs (especially the backs because it sags of of right now and am planning on getting a tent down the road). Would I need to do anything else to run 33's on stock suspension?

Welcome, Kyle! You very likely will have to trim the lower corners of the fender flares. Good on you for doing your research and also looking into replacing your leaf pack! I also flattened the pinch weld and replaced my front fender liners

Definitely remove the mud flaps. You can get by with adding 1/4” spacers on top of your Baja coilovers. That will get you 1/2” higher. Or you could opt for the 1/2” Baja specific spacer that will get you 1” higher. For the rear you can get by with adding a progressive aal to the existing leafs but in the long run you should do a whole new pack like from Icon or a couple other brands.
You don’t need a cmc, but that may depend on if you change your wheels with something more aggressive. You will have do very minor trimming to the inside plastic of the wheels wells. ......it’s very minor and easy.

I will most likely want to run bf goodrich 285/75/16. I plan on replacing the leafs no doubt. What do you think of the stock TRD lift?

I personally love it. Not to say I wouldn’t mind a set of Kings someday. But this lift I do truly love. It’s tuned specifically for our truck, no fucking vibs and shit to deal with, you can make higher if desired.
So I have 285/70/17, 1/4” spacers added to my fronts and an icon aal added to the rear. Great stance....

Thanks man. Not a bit......however, I don’t wheel my truck either. If I did with any significance I’m positive I would.
