    ACH.... SHEESH give me a break (though I think I have 4or 5 Kevlar in my garage). And I have 8 plates....4 for my IOTV and 4 for my plate carrier. And I have honestly never worn the goggles but they are standard issue so they sit in my bag....

    I figured. It’s the rule of service; talk shit to the other unit. If a soft skill shows up, talk shit to them. If another branch shows up, talk shit to them... If several branches show up, the dumb grunts make fun of the Air Force, Navy or Coast Guard while secretly being jealous of their transferable skill sets. Then we imagine the cool jobs we could get; merc, being retired, police (probably too brutal for that one- think Major Payne), gun counter (wasn’t what it was cracked up to be)...

    It would be awesome! I'll have to post my helmet setup for domestic operations tomorrow when I go to work.... Definitely not that helmet (though it seems it would be better lol) but not bad none the less.... Just heavy

    I always told people to go Air Force, more like a real job or working for a corporation. If they wanted to go army, I told them to go officer. Easier life, if you can handle the politics BUT you have to do it before you’re too set in your ways as an NCO. You make e6, mid as well stay enlisted. At least for any of the combat arms MOS’ (infantry, armor, cav, combat engineer, scout..)
