Hello I'm new and just wanted to say hi. I recently bought a 95 Toyota Tacoma for my 14 year old son we're working on it as a project . I also have a question I don't have time to search I work a lot of hours I'm a maintenance man so I was wondering if I could put a bugeye grille and headlights on my stock 95? Any information will be helpful I appreciate it in advance.
My son wants 0903191835_HDR.jpg to go from this 95 stock to thisCapture+_2019-09-05-11-28-08.jpg

You may not have much time to search, but I bet your son does...

Maybe start by finding pictures of each model truck disassembled (from build threads or maybe manufacturer exploded views) and try to spot any major differences in the mounting etc... I think carpart.com and a few others have pretty good exploded parts diagrams.

I've seen plenty of people go from the "bug eye" look to the late model 2001-2004 grill/headlights. Seems like they didn't change the body all that much. Anything is possible with enough cutting and fabrication.

First of all thanks for your reply. That is a great idea. he's only 14 however he could spot some differences and changes that could be made. Thanks for the resources!

    Best of luck.

Here's my son helping with MY project. He's got a few years to go before he gets his own project... :D

I've looked into going the other way, from the bug eyes to the square and I know the front radiator support (which does not bolt in) between the 2 is different.

If you're in WA state we can make it a project for me to get your grill and you can have mine!
