The base price isn't bad at all. What I'm worried about is the huge increase with the packages which will surely take it over $40k.
All I really want is the LED's and what comes in the regular premium package from the years past with the leather heated seats, dual AC,JBL etc. Seems like that is where things get pricey

Looks like they have the models listed wrong, 7545 should be a OR DCSB MT.

So.... I waited as long as I could, but the forecasted prices of a fully loaded TRD OR compared to what I got this for.... I couldn’t resist.

Hey bud, I got mine down to 43000. And Theres a 1500 rebate that the Toyota sheet does not say excludes pros, like they usually do, my dealer added that on top. So I’m essence I laid 41500 for a $48k sticker

Now had we bought yesterday, we would have gotten 1750 in rebates

My 2020 Taco just built yesterday and ETA to dealer for 9/25-9/30. Super Stoked. Figured I'd post the spec sheet for those curious.

As a dealer employee my selling price was $41358 ($500 under invoice), out the door with CT sales tax I'm at $44179.

    Hi everyone,
I just went to the dealership yesterday asking about the 2020 TRDpro and they had no idea when they would be getting one. I asked if it was possible to order one but They said they are allocated a few only. The funny thing was the sales guy had no idea what the new changes were to the Tacoma. I was asked about 5 times if I would be interested in a 2019 they had in stock but I told them that I already had a tacoma and I was toying with the idea of getting the new 2020 due to all the upgrades. Check out the pricing on the 2019 they had in stock.
I am willing to drive or fly to another dealership in order to get the right truck/price.

That's a little confusing. Do you mean the right price I assume reduced price on a 2019 or a way to order a 2020 Pro and avoid being at the mercy of dealer allocation?

I am sure I could haggle down the price on the 2019 but after seeing all the upgrades on the 2020s, I would rather wait. I posted the pic of the sticker on the 2019 to show how they mess with the price. I guess if I'm patient, I can wait it out for the right truck. Im sure they will try to use the "allocation" problem to their advantage.

    Car salesmen are generally clueless.

I had one tell me the JBL package upgraded the Tacoma’s horn.

I’ve also had one at a Chevy dealer walk up and ask me what I thought of the Camaro I was looking at. I was looking at a used mustang...

If negotiating a Pro before was hard I think it's going to be a nightmare PITA now for a potential buyer. For those who are trying to work a deal the best course of action would be to negotiate 2020 Sport/OR or get a deal on 2019 Pro or other trims etc. I think a lot of dealer's got greedy and held on to some of the stock too long trying to maximize the sale when they had someone right in front of them with a more than reasonable offer. One in the hand is worth two in the bush as they say. Eventually they are going to be forced to purge that aged inventory to make space for the 2020's coming in.

I am right there with a lot of other people and thinking that a lot of the new features are attractive, but how much am I willing to pay for that? The only thing I would remotely consider making the jump for would be a 2020 Pro in green with a manual transmission. Those three things Pro, Army Green, and manual transmission will make it essentially a unicorn and come with a king's ransom of probably 51-55k+ in my area. Could I offset some of that with my current Pro? Sure, but I would still take a hit on it.

Aside from overall 2020 pricing, I also think that there are a lot of us sitting tight on pricing and feasibility of retrofitting the refresh items onto our current trucks i.e. headlights, head unit, power seats, etc. and I'd venture to bet if it's possible to add a few of the top refresh items to current trucks a lot of people will jump at that.

That's exactly where I'm at..though I want a OR SB AT,so it's not nearly as rare as yours BUT for getting just the premium package,LED headlights and nothing else,it'll end up being more than what I'm willing to pay (over $40k after TTL). I think I may be better off just getting a heavily discounted 19 and outfitting it later on with aftermarket parts like that on a 2020
